According to the company, industry testing shows that the new innovations involved in the LegacyIII Gold battery promise increased battery performance and life.

WINSTON-SALEM, NC — Douglas Battery, one of the nation’s largest manufacturers of automotive and industrial batteries, has unveiled its newest generation of battery technology, the LegacyIII Gold.

According to the company, industry testing shows that the new innovations involved in the LegacyIII Gold battery promise increased battery performance and life. For the LegacyIII Gold, Douglas Battery introduced premium silver/tin calcium alloy into the manufacturing process, as well as full-framed positive grids, anchor-bonded elements and new paste formulation.

Douglas plans to begin full production and distribution of the LegacyIII Gold in November. The battery has a three-year free replacement guarantee.
