COLMAR, Pa. — Dorman Products reports that it released more than 500 new products in September, including late-model window regulators, ABS sensors, brake cables, wheel cylinders and hoses, along with 35 formerly "Dealer Only" parts that were previously unavailable in the aftermarket.
Dorman says its new-to-the-aftermarket products include radiator fan relay kits, wheel center caps, battery vent tubes, cup holder inserts, exhaust manifold hardware kits and door panel install kits.
New from Dorman are door panel install kits, available for millions of commonly serviced GM, Ford, Honda and Nissan vehicles. Dorman says its newest radiator fan relay kit covers more than 2 million Chrysler and Jeep vehicles. The company also offers application-specific wheel center caps and cup holder inserts for commonly broken or lost originals, providing the opportunity for an add-on sale with do-it-yourselfers as well as progressive repair shops looking to distinguish themselves with an added touch of customer service at a nominal cost. Until now, both were available in the aftermarket only as a universal fit, the company says.
