Donaldson Celebrates Grand Opening Of A New Plant In Poland

The plant is already expanding and will begin producing liquid filters later this year to help meet the growing OEM and aftermarket customer demand within the region.

Donaldson - LogoDonaldson Co. Inc., a leading worldwide manufacturer of filtration systems and parts, is celebrating the grand opening of its new, state-of-the-art facility today in Skarabimierz, Poland.

At this 108,000-square-foot (10,000-square-meter) facility, 55 Donaldson employees produce heavy-duty air filters for both the on-road and off-road equipment markets, supporting the most popular original equipment manufacturer (OEM) customers in Europe’s agriculture, mining and transportation industries. The plant is already expanding and will begin producing liquid filters later this fiscal year to help meet the growing OEM and aftermarket customer demand within the region.

Grand opening festivities include remarks by Tod Carpenter, Donaldson president and CEO; Wim Vermeersch, Donaldson vice president of Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA); and Leszek Strugala, Donaldson Poland plant manager.

“This new manufacturing facility represents a significant investment in our future growth plans and our continued focus of supporting our global customers locally,” said Vermeersch. “We have been very pleased with the support and collaboration in the startup by the employees, management, Polish government and local Skarbimierz officials.”

Donaldson’s other Eastern European locations include a distribution center in Bratislava, Slovakia, manufacturing plants in Klášterec and Kadaň, Czech Republic, and now Skarbimierz, Poland. Globally, Donaldson operates an extensive manufacturing and distribution base with 42 manufacturing plants in 26 countries and 22 distribution centers in 18 countries.
