Dominick Wycoff Named President Of Mickey Thompson Tires & Wheels

Wycoff is responsible for leading and executing the strategic plan to continue to profitably grow the Mickey Thompson business.

mickey-thompson-wycoffThe board of directors of Max-Trac Tire Co. Inc. (Mickey Thompson Tires & Wheels) has elected Dominick Wycoff as president, effective Jan. 1.

Wycoff, former vice president of business development for Mickey Thompson Tires & Wheels, succeeds Chris Barbara as president. He is responsible for leading and executing the strategic plan to continue to profitably grow the Mickey Thompson business.

“Dominick has consistently contributed to the growth of our premium brands and has been a tremendously effective leader,” said Phil Kortokrax, chairman of Mickey Thompson Tires & Wheels. “We are excited to have him at the helm, and we look forward to his continued contribution to the success of the Mickey Thompson brand.”  

Wycoff has nearly 20 years of experience in the automotive industry. Prior to joining Mickey Thompson, Wycoff enjoyed a 17-year career with Terry’s Tire Town, where he held a number of leadership positions including regional general manager and vice president of market development. Wycoff holds a bachelor’s degree from Marietta College in Ohio.

Barbara has accepted a new role as director of dealer channel sales at Cooper Tire & Rubber Co.

“We want to thank and congratulate Chris Barbara,” said Kortokrax. “Chris has made a meaningful contribution as Mickey Thompson’s president during the past four years, and we wish him well as he transitions to his new role.”
