DMA Welcomes Tommy Rutherford

As product manager, Rutherford will be responsible for the company's automotive ride control suspension program.

Tommy Rutherford has joined the DMA product team as its new product manager responsible for its automotive ride control suspension program including shocks, bare struts, complete strut assemblies and coil springs. In addition, he will be providing product support for several of DMA’s strategic and specialty engineered product customers. He will be reporting to the director of product management. 

In his role as product manager, Rutherford will be responsible for the management and oversight of all aspects involving the product lines assigned under him. Working collaboratively with the department’s other team members, as well as across the organization, Rutherford will ensure the company continues to provide the best product support, application coverage and marketing exposure possible. Utilizing the company’s product management systems and processes, he will assist in maximizing opportunities in the market. Rutherford’s experience will be called upon to collaboratively work with the company’s SENSEN factory team partners to help them continually implement and meet the expectations of the company’s finished product specifications.

Rutherford joins DMA from CRP Industries via its subsidiary, Atlantic Automotive Engineering, where he served as its director of research & development, hydraulic programs.
