LONG BEACH, CA — DENSO Sales California has announced the promotion of Gene Stark to senior manager from manager. Stark now is responsible for the Technical Services, Engineering, Navigation Services and East Coast Service departments.
Stark graduated from the University of Wisconsin with a bachelor’s degree in Engineering. He joined DENSO in 1988 in the Quality Assurance department and has held various management positions in the Quality Assurance and Engineering departments. Stark was named senior manager effective April 2.
DENSO Sales California has also promoted Ruth Canlobo from manager to senior manager, Finance and Accounting. Canlobo is now responsible for the Finance and Accounting department and the Business Planning department. She was also named senior manager effective April 2.
Canlobo joined DENSO in 2001 as manager of the Accounting department. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Accounting from the University of the Philippines and completed a second major in Business Management at California State University Los Angeles. Prior to joining DENSO, Canlobo was a controller in the aerospace and automotive aftermarket industries.
In addition, the company has promoted John Doran from manager to senior manager. Doran now is responsible for the Heat Management and Customer Service departments.
Doran graduated from California State University Long Beach in 1989 with a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and Finance. Doran joined DENSO in 1991 as a product specialist in the MovinCool Sales department. Doran held various positions in the MovinCool department until 2000, when he was promoted to assistant manager. In 2001, Doran was promoted to manager of the newly named Heat Management department and was named senior manager effective April 2.
