DENSO Expands Aftermarket Line of Ignition Coils

New part numbers cover more than 9 million vehicles in operation.

DENSO Products and Services Americas announced it is adding nine new part numbers to its line of aftermarket ignition coils. The new part numbers cover more than 9 million vehicles in operation, expanding DENSO’s portfolio of high-performance ignition coils to fit more than 218 million cars and trucks on the road today.

With the expanded line, DENSO says it now offers its competitively priced, high-quality replacement ignition coils for a wide range of BMW, Buick, Cadillac, Chevrolet, Ford, GMC, Infiniti, Lincoln, Nissan and Volvo models. The new part numbers cover more than 55 million units in operation.

A leader in direct ignition technology, DENSO pioneered the industry’s first compact stick-type ignition coil designed and optimized for modern engines. Advanced features include improved coil efficiency that reduces the time needed to generate high-voltage, eliminating phantom misfires and delivering consistent performance under all operating conditions. Micro-sized drive circuits integrated into the top of the coil make the unit small, lightweight, and easy to install.

All DENSO ignition coils are built with top-grade materials and components for superior performance, reliability and durability that boost the performance of today’s low-emission, high-efficiency engines.

DENSO’s growing line of ignition coils now totals 141 part numbers.
