Del-Nat Tire Elects New Chairman

Dick Erickson, owner of Sun Tire in Jacksonville, Fla., has been elected chairman of the board of Del-Nat Tire Corp. Erickson succeeds Tony Vetter, president of Northwest Tire, Inc. in Bismarck, ND. Erickson will serve the remaining portion Vetter’s term, with new elections planned at the annual meeting of Del-Nat stockholders in November.

JACKSONVILLE, FL — Dick Erickson, owner of Sun Tire in Jacksonville, Fla., has been elected chairman of the board of Del-Nat Tire Corp. Erickson succeeds Tony Vetter, president of Northwest Tire, Inc. in Bismarck, ND.

Erickson will serve the remaining portion Vetter’s term, with new elections planned at the annual meeting of Del-Nat stockholders in November.

Erickson has been a Del-Nat stockholder for six years and has served on the board since 2002. Sun Tire operates 10 retail locations and one warehouse in northern Florida.

Del-Nat Tire Corp. is the largest privately-owned distributor of private brand tires in the world, marketing under the Delta, National and Akuret brand names.
