DCR Systems Begins Long-Term Partnership with Car-O-Liner

Utilizing its 26 distributor locations in North America, Car-O-Liner will supply DCR Systems with frame, measuring and welding equipment, along with ongoing training and certification.

MENTOR, OHIO – Mentor, Ohio-based DCR Systems has entered into a long-term global business partner operating agreement with Car-O-Liner. DCR Systems offers U.S. Toyota dealers both turnkey collision repair outsourcing as well as collision repair licensing opportunities; Car-O-Liner is an approved equipment provider to the Toyota Certified Collision Center program.

Utilizing its 26 distributor locations in North America, Car-O-Liner will supply DCR Systems with frame, measuring and welding equipment, along with ongoing training and certification.

“DCR recognizes that Car-O-Liner is not only the technician’s equipment of choice, but also the global leader in its understanding of a systemic approach to major reconstruction, from structural to welding integrity to point-of-use tooling applications,” said DCR President and CEO Michael Giarrizzo, Jr. “Car-O-Liner’s leadership team understands the changing dynamics of our marketplace and the process needs of our unique operating model.”

Commenting on the strategic partnership, Car-O-Liner Operations Manager Michael Carbone said, “We’re very proud to provide new collision repair systems to DCR Systems to aid in optimizing DCR’s productivity while fitting within their methodology and lean model. Quality and end-results derived from our equipment repair processes will continue to add value and integrity to the DCR Systems brand image as we work and grow together into the future.”

Utilizing Lean manufacturing principles, DCR says its patent-pending process drives predictable, dependable repair quality and delivers high-level customer satisfaction and greater owner retention — enabling Toyota dealers to expand their revenue stream without any of the headaches associated with traditional auto body repair.

DCR currently manages collision center operations for three U.S. Toyota dealerships, with rapid expansion of that network anticipated as a result of its partnership with Toyota Motor Sales USA Inc.
