Dayco Honored By Bapcor With A Gold Supplier Of The Year Award

The award was presented at the 2018 Bapcor Group Convention, which brought together more than 900 members of management, staff and suppliers from April 16 to 20 in Singapore.

Dayco Australia has received the Gold Supplier of the Year award by the Bapcor Group, parent company of Australia’s preferred trade supplier of automotive parts Burson Auto Parts and New Zealand’s BNT.

The Bapcor Group Gold Supplier of the Year Award was presented to Dayco Vice President Aftermarket Asia Pacific Arnold Mouw at the Bapcor Group Convention Gala Awards Dinner held on Friday, April 20 at the Singapore Marina Bay Sands Expo Ballroom.

The award was presented at the 2018 Bapcor Group Convention, which brought together more than 900 members of management, staff and suppliers from April 16 to 20 in Singapore.

According to Mouw, this prestigious award was as highly appreciated as it was unexpected.

“Dayco Australia has always had an incredible relationship with Burson Auto Parts that is now in its 36th consecutive year. It is a very strong relationship that was built on a handshake agreement and it has flourished ever since,” said Mouw. “What makes this award even more humbling is that it was voted [on] by the Bapcor Group across several different levels of criteria. It is also very pleasing to receive this award out of a field of some 100 Bapcor Group suppliers. We are all incredibly proud.”

Dayco Australia is a veteran of the Australian and New Zealand automotive aftermarket industry, with more than three and a half decades of providing replacement engine components across a full range of applications to suit each country’s vastly diverse car parc.

Dayco continues to invest in the constant improvement of its trade customer service with a recent major expansion of the company’s warehouse and distribution facility located in the Melbourne suburb of Hallam.
