Dayco Appoints Jay Buckley Director, HD/Specialty Markets

Buckley will be responsible for HD, powersports and off-road product management.

Dayco recently announced that Jay Buckley has joined Dayco as the director, heavy duty and specialty markets for the U.S. Aftermarket team.  Buckley will work in the Troy, Michigan, office and reports to Mike McTeer, VP sales & marketing for the U.S. Aftermarket. Buckley will be responsible for HD, powersports and off-road product management. Additionally, he will use his experience and expertise to lead Dayco’s technical and training resurgence to the end user technicians.

Buckley most recently led sales, marketing and product management for XToolUSA. Prior to that he held roles with AlliedSignal/Honeywell’s Autolite Spark Plugs, Bendix Brakes and FRAM Filtration where he delivered results in the technical evaluation and testing, training, product management and marketing areas.

Buckley is a graduate of the Denver Automotive and Diesel College. He earned a certification from ASE as a Master Tech in Diesel and Service Consultant.
