Magnaflow Exec Joins AWE Team

Darron Shubin Joins AWE Team

Darron Shubin will be leading the company’s sales and customer support teams and overseeing AWE’s sales strategy.

AWE, the precision engineering firm outside Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, announced today that Darron Shubin, former VP at MagnaFlow, has joined the growing company’s executive team as the director of sales. Shubin will be leading the company’s sales and customer support teams and overseeing AWE’s sales strategy.

“With AWE’s growth into so many new markets in the past 36 months, including major Modern Muscle markets, the JDM space, and now the off-road and truck market, it was time to grow the executive team with a leader that brings enthusiasm, experience, and the drive to shift AWE to the next gear,” said Todd Sager, AWE’s president.

“I am thrilled to have joined the AWE Team. Not only does this team of great humans all share a stratospheric passion for the rapidly growing AWE brand, but their rebellious pursuit of continuous improvement is the BEST! Bringing my 21 years of experience in the automotive aftermarket to AWE slots in perfectly with the organization’s vision to build The Best Sounding Exhausts on the Planet. I look to add capacity where there is an opportunity, continue to drive strategic sales with our distribution partners, and stay committed to upholding the AWE service our customers have come to expect,” said Shubin.

Prior to joining AWE, Shubin spent 19 years at MagnaFlow, where he started in technical support and over nearly two decades climbed the ranks of the brand to become the Vice President of National Sales in 2018. Darron is a SEMA YEN member, ETTN member, and has been a Young Auto Car Network Group member. He has been named to SEMA’s top 35 under 35 and was SEMA YEN’s Young Executive of the Year in 2010.
