Dana CEO Michael Burns Takes On Additional Post as Chairman

The Dana Corp. board of directors has named president and CEO Michael Burns to the additional post of chairman. Burns becomes the eighth chairman in Dana's 100-year history, succeeding Glen Hiner, who has served in the position since the death of former Dana Chairman and CEO Joe Magliochetti last September.

TOLEDO, OH — The Dana Corp. board of directors has named president and CEO Michael Burns to the additional post of chairman.

Burns becomes the eighth chairman in Dana’s 100-year history, succeeding Glen Hiner, who has served in the position since the death of former Dana Chairman and CEO Joe Magliochetti last September. Hiner will continue as a director of Dana, a role he has served in since 1993.

Burns was named president and CEO of Dana in February after 34 years with General Motors Corp., where he had most recently served as president of General Motors Europe, based in Zurich, Switzerland.
