CW Bearing U.S.A. Inc. Poised to Enter N.A. Aftermarket

CW Bearing, a subsidiary of the Cixing Group, was founded in 1984 by Hu Xiangenon on China’s eastern coast.

Jessica Hu, CPO of CW Bearing U.S.A. Inc., has announced that Greg Sturm has joined the company as vice president of sales and the North American Aftermarket Business unit leader.

An aftermarket veteran, Sturm was recently the global aftermarket sales manager for Maximatecc, a division of CentroMotion. Prior to that, he spent 14 years with the Timken Co. of Canton, Ohio, in assorted management positions, including product management, sales and engineering. Sturm has a Mechanical Engineering degree from The University of Akron and Business Management degree from Walsh University. His earlier career included time with GE Capital, Wells Fargo Financial and Schaeffler Transmission Systems.

Also joining the CW Aftermarket team as Director of Product Management is Rod Hodge. Hodge brings 32 years of experience in manufacturing and product management with the Timken Co., in management and special project roles. In his most recent role, he managed the Global Automotive Aftermarket Ball and Wheel-end product offering, with extensive experience in managing global cross-functional teams in Europe and Asia. Hodge has degrees in Service Engineering and Business from Stark State and Malone University, respectively.

CW Bearing, is a subsidiary of the Cixing Group, which was founded in 1984 by Hu Xiangenon on China’s eastern coast. CW’s customers include well-known OEMs and Tier 1 suppliers. It has a global footprint including sales offices, distribution centers, plus engineering and manufacturing in Asia, Europe, North and South America.
