Motor State Distributing, CV Products Announce Mutual Programs

CV Products also will transition certain distributed product lines to Motor State Distributing to allow CV to intensify focus on expanding its branded product lines.

CV Products Consolidated LLC has announced its plans to further increase focus on growing its various manufacturing businesses, and is appointing Motor State Distributing as a Master Distributor of CV’s proprietary brands, including CV Racing Products, Xceldyne, X2 and XTS Timing Systems. CV Products also will transition certain distributed product lines to Motor State Distributing to allow CV to intensify focus on expanding its branded product lines to better meet the performance engine racing needs of its customers, dealers and distributors.

Steve Lineberger, president and CEO of CV Products Consolidated, said, “CV Products has been in business for 30 years supplying quality racing components to the performance industry. Our goal is to continue to meet the needs of our valued customers for our branded manufactured product lines. We will continue to provide outstanding customer service and competitive pricing on a targeted select group of distributed product lines such as ARP, Calico Coated Bearings, Cometic, Continental Belts, Fel Pro, Ferrea, Isky, PSI Valve Springs and MAHLE Clevite.”

“CV’s future emphasis aligns with our heritage of being an Elite Supplier and Manufacturer of Premium Racing Engine Products in the industry. We are proud of our manufacturing achievements and the leading brands that we have built, and plan to accelerate the growth of our brands. It was important that we found someone to satisfy the engine builders and racers needs on product lines we will no longer distribute effective Feb. 7. The Motor State team will do an excellent job to ensure our customers receive quality service and products. Our mutual goal is to take care of our loyal customers needs,” said Lineberger.

Scott Wahlstrom, marketing manager of Motor State Distributing, said, “With years of experience in the motorsports distribution business, the opportunity to service customers with trusted brands such as CV Racing Products, Xceldyne, X2 and XTS Timing Systems is exciting. We carry an expansive range of products backed by our incredibly knowledgeable and technical sales staff, a combination that has earned Motor State Distributing one of the best reputations in the industry.”

CV will continue operations from its High Tech Campus in Thomasville, North Carolina, with a keen focus on supplying quality manufacturing capabilities and engine related products to the performance racing community.

Motor State Distributing is located in Watervliet, Michigan, and services the racing and performance industry around the world with quality products and services.

CV and Motor State were founded on racing solutions and customer service excellence. Both agree that these mutual programs will satisfy a common goal to provide continuous innovative product selection with superior customer service support.
