CRC Industries Joins With TechForce To Help Develop Next Generation Of Techs

CRC Industries Partners With TechForce

The TechForce Foundation provides opportunities, resources and support for students who want to pursue careers as professional technicians.

CRC Industries has partnered with the TechForce Foundation and its industry alliances to help educate, develop and train the next generation of technicians. TechForce aims to address the critical need to build the technician workforce as well as inspire students to consider skilled trades careers in the transportation industry.

Founded in 2005, TechForce Foundation is a non-profit providing scholarships and grants, workforce development, training aids, parent and student education tools, mentorship, and networking platforms focused on building the future of the industry.

“We are honored to welcome CRC to our ranks of industry-leading companies that share the passion and commitment to helping solve the tech shortage,” said Jennifer Maher, TechForce CEO and executive director. “Transportation tech jobs are in high demand and a far cry from your grandparents’ mechanic. In fact, today’s transportation techs draw on more high-tech skills than ever with the average new car containing more than 30 computers and in excess of 100 million lines of code. CRC’s support of the TechForce mission is helping students to and through careers as transportation techs and their collaborative spirit is sure to help make a difference.”

Dori Ahart, senior marketing manager for CRC, announced the partnership, noting, “CRC is thrilled to align with the TechForce Foundation. We want to help encourage talented, hands-on students to develop their skills to become the techs of tomorrow and support the hard-working trades professionals and teachers who are training and mentoring them today. TechForce is doing incredible work to champion technical education and careers as well as deliver programs and opportunities that promote equity and diversity.”
