CLEVELAND — ContiTech’s Power Transmission Group has developed and released a manual that gives installers, jobbers and distributors practical tips on storing, handling and mounting v-belts, multi-ribbed v-belts and timing belts.

ContiTech’s Power Transmission Group, a business unit of the ContiTech Division of Continental AG, develops and manufactures drive systems for the automotive original equipment and replacement markets, appliance and industrial equipment industries.

The new manual, which includes features in multiple languages, will assist auto repair shops and technicians in diagnosis and analysis of belt problems. In addition to diagnostic tips, the manual also provides tips on storing the belts.

Information for a customer-oriented presentation and a variety of sales aids and displays complete the offering. A CD version of the manual also contains training programs for mechanics.
