Continental Tire Announces Price Increase

Effective June 1, Continental Tire North America (CTNA) will raise prices on Continental, General, Semperit and private brand passenger, light truck, medium truck and OTR tires. CTNA made the announcement in a letter to dealers earlier this week.

FORT MILL, S.C. – Continental Tire The Americas (CTA) has announced a price increase of up to 6 percent on all PLT tires, and up to 7 percent on all CVT Continental, General Tire and proprietary brand passenger, light truck and commercial tires in the United States.

The price increase will vary by product size, the company said. The price increase is effective as of June 1 for the U.S. market, and is a response to the continuing rise in raw material cost.
