FRANKFURT — Following the news that Continental CFO Alan Hippe has resigned from his positions as chairman of Continental AG’s executive board, chief financial officer (CFO) and head of Conti’s Rubber Group, the company has already appointed a new CFO.
According to a report from Dow Jones Newswires, Gerard Cordonnier will take over as chief financial officer, effective Mar. 1, initially on a temporary basis. Cordonnier will add this interim role to his current role as head of finance and controlling for the company’s interior division, the report said.
Hippe will become co-finance chief at German steelmaker ThyseenKrupp AG.
