The award was presented to Kathleen Schmatz, president and CEO of AAIA, yesterday during AAPEX by David Mestdagh, director, North American Aftermarket Operations, Commercial Vehicles & Aftermarket, Interior Division, Continental; Helmut Ernst, vice president IAM; Jerry Gabbard, vice-president and general manager NAFTA Region; and AnnaMaria Pouchan, marketing communications manager.

ALLENTOWN, Pa. — Continental Commercial Vehicles & Aftermarket, an aftermarket supplier of OE-engineered aftermarket parts for HVAC and engine cooling, door systems, brake systems, tire pressure monitoring systems, engine management, fuel systems and instrumentation, is providing a scholarship to Northwood University for its leadership program. The award, which was originally established by the company in 2004, makes the scholarship available to a Northwood University female student so that she can participate in the Automotive Aftermarket Industry Association’s (AAIA) annual legislative summit.
