Continental Conducts Successful TPMS Training Program For Automotive Parts Headquarters

During the event, representatives from various APH stores across the country learned about critical TPMS service requirements, proper parts, troubleshooting and installation procedures and valuable sales techniques.

Continental Commercial Vehicles & Aftermarket conducted a successful TPMS training program for a group of store owners and managers from Automotive Parts Headquarters (APH), a key Continental and TPMS program retail partner.

The training event was held at Continental’s Technical Center in Auburn Hills, Michigan, and conducted by Sean Lannoo, Continental sales technical training specialist. During the event representatives from various APH stores across the country learned about critical TPMS service requirements, proper parts, troubleshooting and installation procedures and valuable sales techniques, as well as Continental’s VDO REDI-Sensor TPMS sensor program. The event also provided an overview of the entire aftermarket portfolio offered by Continental.

“The tour at Continental in Detroit gave our attending APH customers a first-hand view of the ease of VDO REDI-Sensor installation. This unique opportunity to participate in the garage demonstration and spend time with the product managers and technical training team will greatly benefit our Auto Value Parts Store owners/managers upon returning to their respective markets,” said David Bock, sales manager – independent stores at APH. “It’s comforting to know that APH/Auto Value is partnering with a leading aftermarket supplier like Continental.”

Sean Lannoo manages the Continental TPMS training program and is responsible for providing technical support and training to customer sales personnel and professional technicians throughout the United States and Canada. In his training efforts, Lannoo has been an instrumental contributor to the company’s aftermarket TPMS program since the inception of TPMS, and has conducted more than 150 training seminars and trained more than 2,970 automotive technicians on the art of TPMS. Lannoo, a 19-year veteran of Continental, is a TIA Certified Automotive Tire Service Instructor and holds three ASE Certifications.
