Collins & Aikman Names New CFO

The board of directors of Collins & Aikman Corp. has named Tim Trenary as the company's new executive vice president, chief financial officer (CFO) and treasurer effective immediately. Trenary joined Collins & Aikman as vice president and treasurer in September of 2005. Trenary brings more than 28 years of financial and operational experience to Collins & Aikman.

TROY, MI — The board of directors of Collins & Aikman Corp. has named Tim Trenary as the company’s new executive vice president, chief financial officer (CFO) and treasurer effective immediately. Trenary joined Collins & Aikman as vice president and treasurer in September of 2005.

Trenary brings more than 28 years of financial and operational experience to Collins & Aikman. His prior employment includes roles at Federal-Mogul from 2001 to 2005 as director, reorganization finance and administration; finance director, South America; and director, financial services and process. He previously held the positions of COO and CFO at James Cable Partners from 1991 to 2000.

Trenary holds a bachelor’s degree in accounting from Michigan State University and a Master of Business Administration from University of Detroit.
