Christian Brothers Automotive Opens 17th Denver-Area Shop

Local entrepreneur introduces seamless car maintenance and repair services to Metropolitan Denver.

Christian Brothers Automotive has announced a new location in Wheat Ridge, Denver.

Under the ownership of local resident, Doug Troxell, the Wheat Ridge shop is located at 3865 Kipling Street and is open five days a week, from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Friday, offering a variety of professional auto care service from simple upkeep and repairs to preventative maintenance.

“The mission of every Christian Brothers Automotive is to radiate positivity to our guests, whether that be through acting as trusted partner that they can rely on for expert auto care or taking an active role in the Wheat Ridge community where we live and work,” said Troxell. “Our people-first approach promises a seamless car maintenance and repair experience, and I am looking forward to demonstrating the Nice Difference to our friends and neighbors.”

Prior to opening Christian Brothers Automotive in Wheat Ridge, Troxell worked with a food distributor that serviced a variety of venues including hotels, restaurants and more. During his time as a sales manager, Troxell honed the operations and relationship-building skills that will be crucial to owning and operating his automotive repair shop.

“Christian Brothers Automotive has exceeded countless individuals and families’ expectations with our trusted auto service, and Doug will offer drivers in Wheat Ridge the chance to keep their cars, and lives, running as smoothly as possible,” said Donnie Carr, president and CEO of Christian Brothers Automotive. “Our goal is to provide guests with more than just reliable transportation. We have faith that every location will foster an environment where guests feel comfortable and empowered to make decisions about their vehicles.”

CCC Report Analyzes Labor Pressures, Vehicle Complexity

CCC Intelligent Solutions Inc. (CCC) announced it has published its 2024 Crash Course Report, which indicates that increasing vehicle complexity, combined with rising labor costs and shortages, are placing persistent pressure on both insurers and repairers.

New findings show that while vehicles may be safer, more capable of avoiding crashes and more environmentally friendly, advanced technology is contributing to costlier repairs, higher claims costs and longer cycle times. Additional factors, such as scheduling backlogs, have contributed to the 60% increase in the amount of time it takes for vehicles to enter repair shops after estimate completion, compared to pre-pandemic times.
