Charles Harris Joins Airtex/ASC As Senior Director Of Aftermarket Sales And Marketing – North America

In this new role, Harris will lead the company’s sales and marketing efforts for the North American aftermarket (U.S., Canada and Mexico). This includes all traditional sales, retail sales, special market sales, customer service, cataloging, tech services and marketing.

Airtex/ASC, a manufacturer of fuel and water pumps for the OE and aftermarket channels, has named Charles Harris as senior director of aftermarket sales and marketing for North America.

In this new role, Harris will lead the company’s sales and marketing efforts for the North American aftermarket (U.S., Canada and Mexico). This includes all traditional sales, retail sales, special market sales, customer service, cataloging, tech services and marketing. He will dual-report to both Dave Peace, president and CEO, and Bruce Tartaglione, senior strategist of new business development.

“Charles is a strong addition to our team,” said Peace. “With his industry experience and customer relationships, Charles will be instrumental as we grow our fuel and water pump leadership. Airtex/ASC is setting a new standard within the fuel and water pump market, offering our customers unmatched coverage, support and manufacturing excellence.”

Harris joins the company with more than 30 years of experience in the automotive industry. Most recently, he served as director of sales for FTE Automotive NAFTA, a clutch and brake hydraulics supplier. Harris also served in leadership roles at Mintex Distribution Systems, TMD Friction and Tenneco.

Harris holds a degree in business from Northwood University. He will be working out of the company’s North Canton, Ohio, office.
