Centric Parts Opens Up New Brake Pad Assembly Plant

Centric Parts offers several brake pad lines including Posi Quiet Premium, Centric Premium and C-Tek, along with OE brake pads.

LOS ANGELES — Centric Parts, manufacturer and supplier of aftermarket brake components and systems for everyday cars, performance-duty vehicles and ultra-performance vehicles, has opened a new 40,000-square-foot brake pad assembly plant located in Carson, Calif.

"Centric’s brake pad sales continue to grow at an unprecedented rate," said Dan Lelchuk, president of Centric Parts. To support that continued growth now and in the future, this division has been moved to a stand-alone facility."

Centric Parts offers several brake pad lines including Posi Quiet Premium, Centric Premium and C-Tek, along with OE brake pads.

"The amount of value-added production that Centric Parts performs internally is largely unseen by our customers," added Lelchuk. "Our premium brake pad programs require scorching, shim and clip assembly and wear sensor attachment in specific applications. This new Centric Parts facility adds necessary production capacity and keeps these jobs here in North America."

Founded in 2000, Centric Parts now operates multiple warehouse and manufacturing facilities totaling 473,000 square feet and exceeds 500 employees.
