CARQUEST Names Classic Auto Collision of Escanaba, Michigan 2005 Automotive Refinish Supply Excellence Award Recipient

Scott and Mary Fritz of Classic Auto Collision in Escanaba, MI, have been selected as the 2005 CARQUEST Automotive Refinish Supply Excellence Award winners. The CARQUEST Automotive Refinish Supply Excellence Award was established in 2003 to recognize the collision repair business that through the course of everyday service excellence, exemplifies the professionalism necessary to build public understanding and respect for people working in collision repair today.

RALEIGH, NC — Scott and Mary Fritz of Classic Auto Collision in Escanaba, MI, have been selected as the 2005 CARQUEST Automotive Refinish Supply Excellence Award winners.

The CARQUEST Automotive Refinish Supply Excellence Award was established in 2003 to recognize the collision repair business that through the course of everyday service excellence, exemplifies the professionalism necessary to build public understanding and respect for people working in collision repair today. Award nominees were judged in all aspects of their business, including: mission/purpose statement; employee benefits and training; overall technical expertise of the collision center; customer relations, including insurance relationships; industry involvement; and community involvement.

Kevin Nelson, CARQUEST national sales manager, PBE, recognized the Fritz’s during the annual CARQUEST Collision Center Council Meeting, Oct. 14 – 15, in Raleigh, NC.

“To win the excellence award from CARQUEST is a great achievement and honor for our business,” said Scott Fritz. “Our business wouldn’t be a success without our dedicated employees and, of course, our fine customers. They are the reason we received this award.”

Scott and Mary Fritz, opened their first location in Escanaba in 1982. In 1998, they relocated their business to a brand new, high-tech collision facility which has continued to grow in volume and success. On April 1, Scott and Mary opened Classic Auto Collision II in Marquette, MI. It is a 16,000-square-foot ultra-modern facility built very similarly to the Escanaba location and is operated under the same high standards.

Classic Auto Collision’s mission statement is to always stay on top of the competitors with top-notch quality and service. They value good old fashioned customer service, and constantly train their associates in areas of management, estimating, body and paint repair.

The Fritz’s also operate a mechanical shop in Escanaba named Advanced Tech Service Center and a 24-Hour Wrecker Service called Bay de Noc Towing.
