Carparts Distribution Center Celebrates 45 Years

The company currently boasts 21 Carparts locations including the nine recently acquired stores in central Maine.

Carparts Distribution Center, Inc., a New England-based chain of parts stores and an Auto Value shareholder owner of the Aftermarket Auto Parts Alliance, Inc., is celebrating 45 years of business this year.

While COVID-19 put a damper on any official anniversary events, the company has virtually and internally honored the momentous achievement.

“Despite the challenges posed by the pandemic, we have still achieved a milestone anniversary” said Stan Lewis, president of Carparts. “I am proud of and grateful for every member of the Carparts family who has enabled us to thrive for the past 45 years, and I look forward to many more years of Carparts growth and top-notch service.”

Since its founding in 1975, Carparts has been providing quality parts at the right price to its New England customers. Many of the company’s employees have been working in the industry for more than 40 years.

The company currently boasts 21 Carparts locations including the nine recently acquired stores in central Maine, and works with dozens of traditional jobbers. Carparts also services more than 80 Auto Value Certified Service Centers in Maine, Massachusetts and New Hampshire.

“Congratulations to Carparts on 45 years of excellence,” said John R. Washbish, president and CEO of the Alliance. “All of the staff members at Carparts hold themselves to a high standard. We are proud to be associated with such a high-caliber company.”
