CAN Connect Product Showcase Winners Announced

The three categories announced were Best New Innovative Product, Best New Performance Product and Best New Truck Product.

Aftermarket manufacturers who exhibited in the CAN EXPO Hall for the 50th Anniversary of the CAN Connect Conference that took place last week, September 6-9, 2022 at the Arizona Grand Resort & Spa, were eligible to enter products in the New Product Showcase and feature it in front of the industry’s biggest and best-known distributors and resellers. The winners of that showcase have been announced!

The three categories were Best New Innovative Product, Best New Performance Product and Best New Truck Product. The Best New Innovative Product winner was Pop & Lock for its CAT-RAP™ Catalytic Converter Security Device. The Best New Performance Product winner was Aeromotive for its Stealth In-Tank Fuel Pump, and the Best Truck Product winner was EGR for its RollTrac electric tonneau cover.

“Pop & Lock is incredibly honored to be selected by our peers for this Innovation Award. The CAT-RAP is an extremely effective theft deterrent designed to help prevent catalytic converter theft across a wide variety of vehicles.  As our team continues to innovate and expand our product portfolio beyond tailgate locks, we truly appreciate your recognition of these efforts,” said Jeff Pierquet, Vice President of Sales & Marketing at Pop & Lock. “Thank you from ALL of us at Pop & Lock!”

“It is an honor to be selected for the Best New Performance Product at CAN this year,” said Phillip VanBuskirk, National Sales Manager Aeromotive Fuel Systems/Waterman Racing Components. “Aeromotive has a long history of building fuel system products that solve problems for racers and support their needs. The 5.0 GPM drop-in pump for the 2005-2018 GM trucks is another example of Aeromotive helping racers push the limits and obtain their goals. The 5.0 GPM brushless pump allows racers to support 1800+hp on E85 and north of 2500hp on race gas. A single drop-in pump like this has never been offered before. Keep your eyes on the lookout for more applications coming soon.”

Mike Timmons, VP of Sales & Marketing Aftermarket Division of EGR,  “We are proud to receive this CAN award from our customers and peers who recognize our quality and advancements in the industry. The new EGR RollTrac is a groundbreaking smart bed cover that offers exceptional quality, security, and fitment.”
