CAN Announces Person Of The Year At 2018 CAN Connect Custom Automotive Network

CAN Congratulates 2018 Person of the Year Adrian Murray of Painless Performance Products.

Custom Automotive Network (CAN), formerly known as Performance Warehouse Association, would like to congratulate Adrian Murray of Painless Performance Products for being named 2018 Person of the Year. This prestigious award is voted on by CAN membership and recognizes someone who has made a significant contribution for the benefit of the custom automotive distribution system. The award was presented by CAN’s President, Tracie Nunez, at the 45th annual CAN Connect Conference, held Sept. 9 in Frisco, Texas.

Painless Performance Products is recognized as the leading manufacturer of high-quality automotive electrical products for the street rod, muscle car, race care and off-road markets. Founded in 1990 with one basic chassis wiring harness, the company has grown over the years to offer fuel injection wiring, switch control centers, battery management systems and a variety of electrical accessories – with more than 400 products in all.

Murray joined Painless in 1998 as vice president of sales and has been president and CEO since 2004. During that time, Painless was recognized as Manufacturer of the Year by CAN’s predecessor, the Performance Warehouse Association, in 2002, 2010 and 2011.

Commenting on the recognition, Nunez said, “We are honored to present this Person of the Year award to Adrian Murray, who is a true advocate for the entire industry. His support for Custom Automotive Network’s mission has been immeasurable this past year.”
