Custom Automotive Network (CAN), formerly known as Performance Warehouse Association, presented its top awards during the annual CAN Connect event. 

These prestigious awards are voted on by CAN membership and recognize those who have made a significant contribution for the benefit of the custom automotive distribution system. The awards were presented by Custom Automotive Network’s President, Tracie Nunez, CAN’s chairman of the board, Andy McJannett of Performance Improvements, and CAN’s Chairman-Elect Scott Wahlstrom of Motor State Distributing at the 46th annual CAN Connect Conference held Sept. 8, 2019 in Frisco, Texas.

This year’s winners are:

• Person of the Year: Bob West of Westin Automotive Products 
• Manufacturer of the Year: Westin Automotive Products 
• Reseller of the Year: Premier Performance 
• Sales Rep of the Year: Michael Kunzman and Associates 

Bob West of Westin Automotive Products and honored as 2019 Person of the Year said, “I am completely humbled and honored to have received this award from CAN. Although my name is on it, it is really a testament to the hard work and dedication of our customers toward our products, and by all of the employees at Westin who made it possible.”  

Westin Automotive Products also was honored as 2019 Manufacturer of the Year for its passion and innovation. 

Bob Barra of Premier Performance shared, “We are thrilled to be recognized by our suppliers and by our peers as the 2019 CAN Reseller of the Year. Our membership in CAN is very important to Premier, and we are very big believers in the organization and the CAN Connect Conference. To be recognized as the Reseller of the Year is a tremendous honor.”

Michael Kunzman and Associates were honored as the 2019 Sale Rep of the Year. Tracie Nunez, President of CAN, said ” It is a privilege to present these honored awards to our industry leaders on behalf of CAN’s members. Being recognized by your industry peers is a very special honor and illuminates the winners dedication to our industry.”
