BWD Automotive, Murray Temperature Control Named 2005 O’Reilly Auto Parts Vendor of the Year for Training and Technical Support

BWD Automotive and Murray Temperature Control have been named the 2005 O’Reilly Auto Parts Vendor of the Year for Training and Technical Support. The announcement was made by O’Reilly Auto Parts during its annual manager’s conference recently held in Dallas, TX. Murray is part of the Temperature Control Division of Standard Motor Products.

LONG ISLAND CITY, NY — BWD Automotive and Murray Temperature Control have been named the 2005 O’Reilly Auto Parts Vendor of the Year for Training and Technical Support. The announcement was made by O’Reilly Auto Parts during its annual manager’s conference recently held in Dallas, TX. Murray is part of the Temperature Control Division of Standard Motor Products.

The award was presented to BWD Automotive and Murray Temperature Control for fostering excellence in training and technical support, which included hands on clinics, superior technical hotline support and excellent training materials. More than 170 clinics were held in 2005, which trained 4,752 professional service technicians in engine management and temperature control seminars.

The award was accepted by Don Herring, vice president for Standard Motor Products; Dale Burks, vice president and general manager, Four Seasons Division of Standard Motor Products; and Don Walker, director of training for Standard Motor Products.

This is the third time that BWD Automotive and Murray Temperature Control have won the award for Vendor of the Year for Training and Technical Support from O’Reilly.

“I would like to thank O’Reilly Auto Parts for recognizing our commitment to outstanding training and technical support,” said Herring.

Burks added, “I would also like to thank everyone who played a role in achieving this award. This was a team effort on all accounts, and I’m proud to work with such a dedicated team of professionals.”
