FRANKLIN PARK, IL — BWD Automotive has launched a new Vehicle Service Professional (VSP) Rewards program, designed to foster, preserve and enhance the relationship among automotive repair technicians, distribution customers and BWD Automotive. The goal of VSP Rewards is to provide today’s professional automotive technician with up-to-date educational and reference tools required by an increasingly complex automotive repair industry.

The VSP Rewards program includes offers for free or discounted training at professionally conducted seminars covering today’s most requested repair and diagnostic topics. Also included in the program is access to a technical assistance hot-line, discounted repair publications, free shop management software, high impact point-of-purchase material and the continuation of BWD’s box top program.

“It has become increasingly clear that replacement part sales in the traditional automotive aftermarket are, and will continue to be, substantially impacted by the industry’s ability to train the independent technician in the latest diagnostic and repair techniques,” said Mike Fitzgerald, director of marketing. “Additionally, it has become critical that the automotive technician have access to high quality technical information that provides the best help available for today’s more complicated repairs. It is now more important than ever, that both the manufacturer and the distributor provide and promote these, and other essential educational services to the automotive repair technician.”

The VSP Rewards program has a combination of options, available at three different price levels:

Diamond – $389; Emerald – $259; or Sapphire – $99.
