CARTERSVILLE, Ga. Burtin Polymer Laboratories has announced its continued support and involvement as the primary sponsor of the No. 51 Bullet Liner/Foametix Ford F-150 in this upcoming Labor Day weekend’s NASCAR Camping World Truck Series event Sept. 2-4 at Atlanta Motor Speedway.
Returning with Billy Ballew Motorsports and driver Colin Braun, who was the 2008 NASCAR Camping World Truck Series rookie of the year, the team looks to build upon its success from the top 10 finish at the recent Michigan International Speedway race.
“Our previous stated goal was to carry momentum and springboard off the success of the Michigan race and compete in other top (key) races on the 2011 schedule. Atlanta Motor Speedway is definitely one of those, and our team is thrilled to have Bullet Liner and Foametix’s continued support in our garage,” said team owner Billy Ballew.
"I’m ready to get back behind the wheel of the Bullet Liner No. 51 Ford truck, at Atlanta Motor Speedway. We had a great handling truck at Michigan and I know we can improve on those results here at Atlanta,” added driver Colin Braun.
“Our customers, dealers and all the members of the Burtin Polymer Laboratories family make this opportunity possible and we thank them for it,” said Henry “Scooter” Delaune, president of Burtin Polymer Labs. “Again, to have our organization and products, Bullet Liner and Foametix, attached to such stellar organizations as NASCAR, Ford and our other racing partners, it should be a great Labor Day weekend in our backyard at the historic track.”
The Atlanta 200 NASCAR Camping World Truck Series is set to run on Friday, Sept. 2, with live race coverage on SPEED Channel at 8 p.m. ET.
