HDA Truck Pride has announced the appointment of Bryan Funke as chief operating officer. Funke joins HDA Truck Pride with more than 20 years of experience in the automotive OE and aftermarket industries.
His experience includes almost 15 years with IHS Markit (formerly R. L. Polk & Co.) in a variety of roles spanning from sales and client services, to global sales strategy and operations. Funke’s most recent role focused on recall outreach, spearheading the creation of this new business unit to help increase recall repair rates. Prior to IHS Markit, Funke worked at Federal-Mogul and Diesel Technology as both a commercial vehicle application engineer and account manager. Funke has deep experience in working with industry trade organizations with active involvement in Auto Care Association, HDMA and SAE throughout his career.
HDA Truck Pride says Funke’s customer-focused approach will be apparent as he works in his new role to enhance member value, leveraging his experience in product engineering, finance, information technology and sales & marketing.

Bryan resides in Brighton, Michigan with his wife Kat and two children. In his spare time, he cherishes spending time with his family and friends, coaching youth sports and playing basketball and golf. Funke is on the board of directors for The Hero Foundation, a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing financial assistance to Michigan families who are suffering from cancer. He holds a bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering from Grand Valley State University and earned his MBA in Finance from Walsh College.
