HOFFMAN ESTATES, IL I-CAR employee Brandon Eckenrode has been promoted from senior marketing communications specialist to supervisor of marketing communications. In this new role, Eckenrode will largely be responsible for and will oversee advertising, media relations and the marketing of all I-CAR training deliveries live, online and qualification tests including Mobile Qualification Tests. He will also continue to lead the marketing efforts of the I-CAR International Annual Meeting and the I-CAR presence at NACE.
“Brandon takes a challenge head on and always finds a way to succeed,” said Tom McGee, I-CAR president and CEO. “While I-CAR was experiencing a downturn in student units, Brandon jumped at the chance to lead the effort to turn our numbers around. Not only has he used creative approaches in promoting I-CAR training and Qualification Tests, he is able to inspire others while leading new initiatives.”
Eckenrode will report to the Director of Marketing Joyce Kasmer, while Jolinda Ottum, marketing communications specialist, will report to Eckenrode.
Eckenrode is a graduate of Western Illinois University in Macomb, IL, and has been employed by I-CAR since January 2002.
