Brake Parts Inc Invests In Nuevo Laredo Caliper Facility To Meet Growing Customer Demand

With more than 160,000 square feet of production capabilities and more than 280 employees, BPI-Nuevo Laredo is strategically laid out to maximize efficiency.

Within two years of its opening, the Brake Parts Inc (BPI) caliper manufacturing facility in Nuevo Laredo, Mexico, has already exceeded production expectations.

“By utilizing a more productive and efficient manufacturing process combined with an automated and innovative facility featuring state-of-the-art equipment, BPI has the ability to produce friction-ready calipers to meet our growing customer demand,” said H.T. Chang, vice president of product development, engineering, R&D and quality, Brake Parts Inc.

With more than 160,000 square feet of production capabilities and more than 280 employees, BPI-Nuevo Laredo is strategically laid out to maximize efficiency. The facility has well-defined quality control standards in place that are supported by engineers, inspectors and auditors. The location’s quality management system has successfully completed the ISO 9001:2015 certification process. In addition, BPI says the calipers manufactured at the BPI-Nuevo Laredo facility are extensively tested to ensure they deliver safe, reliable and leak-free performance.
