Bosch Shop Foreman Pro Software Now Interfaces With NAPA TRACS

Bosch's Shop Foreman Pro is an information portal designed to streamline diagnostic, Web-based information, J2534 programming and diagnostic record management in the service bay.

BROADVIEW, Ill. — Bosch has announced that its award-winning software, Shop Foreman Pro, is now integrated with NAPA TRACS, allowing repair centers to connect their front shop to the workshop and improve data flow.

Bosch’s Shop Foreman Pro is an information portal designed to streamline diagnostic, Web-based information, J2534 programming and diagnostic record management in the service bay. Data can be viewed and analyzed from one or more Bosch diagnostic testers, as well as captured, annotated and saved to provide clear graphical representations of problems and their solutions. With the integration of NAPA TRACS, shops now have the ability to see the complete picture of shop activity for each customer’s vehicle. This allows them to diagnose and repair their customer’s cars more efficiently.

"Shops now have the technology available to them to connect all the service activities in their shop, and make it specific to each customer and his or her vehicle’s service history by combining the technology of NAPA TRACS with Shop Foreman Pro," said Steve Jordan, senior account manager for Robert Bosch LLC.

Shop Foreman Pro has the ability to create repair orders and even a searchable database to recall solutions to specific symptoms that will improve the efficiency of future repairs.

"With more people deciding to have their cars serviced rather than purchase a new one, shops are seeing an increase in business. It is important that we offer them the tools they need to keep their shops at the forefront of technology," Jordan added.
