Bosch Launches Free Gas Card Promotion

Robert Bosch Corp. has launched a new promotion designed to help increase sales of its spark plugs and oxygen sensors. Bosch is offering drivers the opportunity to earn up to $20 in free gas with the purchase of four Bosch Platinum Series Spark Plugs and one Bosch Oxygen Sensor.

BROADVIEW, IL — Robert Bosch Corp. has launched a new promotion designed to help increase sales of its spark plugs and oxygen sensors.

Bosch is offering drivers the opportunity to earn up to $20 in free gas with the purchase of four Bosch Platinum Series Spark Plugs and one Bosch Oxygen Sensor. Bosch is also using the gas card promotion to communicate to drivers that by tuning-up their vehicle, with Bosch Platinum Series Spark Plugs and Oxygen Sensors for example, they can save more than $100 on fuel every year.

“Research indicates that installing premium spark plugs such as Bosch Platinum plugs and replacing a worn out oxygen sensor can improve fuel efficiency by 10 to 15 percent,” said Pam Krebs, director of advertising and sales promotion for Robert Bosch Corp.

The retail value of the free prepaid gas card is contingent on which type of Platinum Series Spark Plugs your customers choose to purchase, said Krebs. The Platinum Series Spark Plugs include Bosch Platinum+4, Bosch Platinum2, and Bosch Platinum. Depending on which Platinum Series Spark Plugs customers buy, they can get a Free Prepaid Gas Card valued at $20, $15 or $10.

The free prepaid gas card offer is available on Bosch Platinum Series Spark Plugs and oxygen sensor purchases made through Dec. 31, at participating auto parts retailers.
