The 90-minute webinar will cover the following topics, among others:

  • How to measure your shop’s performance
  • How to use technology to grow your shop
  • Incorporating technology in your SOP
  • Setting goals and meeting them
  • Maintaining best practices
  • Improving team morale and work-life balance
  • Implementing ongoing training in shop operations and vehicle repair
  • Expanding/opening additional shops
  • Leveraging technology to recruit great technicians

“Every shop can benefit from upping their technology game, but not every shop is fully taking advantage of it, and some simply don’t know how to make the most of it. This all-encompassing webinar will open shop owners’ eyes not only to what’s available, but the practical solutions they can implement to increase efficiency, build a happier team, and most importantly, increase profits,” said Dave Weston, director of marketing for BOLT ON TECHNOLOGY.

“Tech’s use in your repair operation isn’t limited to diagnosing and fixing cars. It’s your most effective way to engage customers, drive repeat business, and increase AROs,” added Saline, vice president of sales for DRIVE. “We’re excited to partner with one of the leaders in the auto aftermarket to present this useful webinar, hopefully the first of many.”

J.B. Burkhauser is BOLT ON’s director of education. Burkhauser is an auto repair specialist with over 35 years of experience—with expertise ranging from A Level and ASE Certified Master Tech, Shop Advisor/Manager, to Automotive Trade School Instructor, and Technical Writer. He is a highly sought-after industry thought leader who has been published in both the U.S. and Europe.

David Saline is a proven industry leader in the automotive and truck repair business. With over 30 years of experience, Saline has been ranked as one of the Top 30 Truck Technicians in the nation by the American Trucking Association. His certifications and recognitions include ASE Master Certified in Automotive, Medium-Heavy Truck, School Buses, Service Writer and Parts; over 40 different OEM certifications; and Master and Master Elite of Shop Management Awards by DRIVE. As vice president of sales for DRIVE, he mentors and helps shop owners improve their businesses while enjoying a better and more productive life.

The webinar will also include a presentation by Gretchen Geist, who will talk about how she successfully implemented Digital Vehicle Inspections from BOLT ON and best practices from DRIVE in her Alaska repair shop, Diamond Plated Automotive.

“Implement the Best Technology & Train Your Team to Use It!” begins at 3 p.m. EDT on Aug. 5, 2021, and is free to all participants from the automotive industry. To register, click here
