B’laster Acquires AC Avalanche Division From TSI Products

With this transaction, B'laster nearly doubles its revenue.

B’laster announced today its acquisition of the AC Avalanche division from TSI Products Inc. Based in Arlington, Texas, AC Avalanche manufactures recharging systems for automotive air conditioners. With this transaction, B’laster nearly doubles its revenue.

“The acquisition of AC Avalanche strengthens our portfolio of automotive aftermarket brands,” said Randy Pindor, president and chief operating officer. “We are excited to welcome the employees into our B’laster family and leverage the added size and product offerings to build on our strong foundation with our customers.”

The AC Avalanche product lines include Avalanche Gold, Black Diamond Premium and A/C Avalanche automotive refrigerants, as well as recharging hoses and adapters. These products are currently available at key national retailers, including AutoZone, NAPA Auto Parts, O’Reilly, Walmart and more. The existing B’laster portfolio includes B’laster-branded penetrants, lubricants and greases, and Metal Rescue rust remover.

“This deal represents the strategic evolution of the B’laster brand legacy and builds on our many years of success,” Pindor said. “As we look to the future, we are also keeping our focus on innovation and organic growth to complement this acquisition. Above all, we remain rooted in our core values and the belief that consumers deserve products that work.”

AC Avalanche will remain in Arlington while B’laster will continue to operate out of the corporate headquarters in Valley View, Ohio. The company plans to add employees in Valley View to support both divisions.
