NASHVILLE, TN — Bridgestone Firestone North American Tire, LLC (BFNT) is releasing a Spanish-language edition of its popular “Longer Mileage Program Videos” on DVD. The video segments were created to help Spanish-speaking fleet managers, drivers, technicians and maintenance personnel learn more about preventing the most common tire-related problems. The DVD is available free to fleets, dealers and tire-repair facilities.

“Our research indicates many for whom Spanish is their first language prefer listening to technical information in Spanish, even when they speak fluent English,” said Don Darden, manager, marketing communications and advertising, commercial tire marketing. “Many find it’s easier to understand technical procedures and their recall is higher.”

The video segments provide information on inspecting, diagnosing and maintaining truck tires – to increase tire life, improve safety, enhance retreadability and lower tire cost per mile. The DVD features seven video segments, running nine to 27 minutes in length. The videos are ideal for monthly driver meetings and new-hire orientation, according to BFNT.

Spanish-language Longer Mileage Program DVDs are available free by calling 1-888-511-8065 or e-mail [email protected].
