KANSAS CITY, Mo. — The Automotive Service Association of Missouri/Kansas has announced a new award to be presented during the 17th Annual VISION Hi-Tech Training & Expo, which takes place next month.
In a commitment to recognizing and raising the professionalism of the automotive service industry, of Missouri/Kansas will be presenting a service facility with the “Best Dressed Shop” Award. Service facilities that want to be considered for the award need to stop by the ASA Member Information Desk in the Exhibit Hall on Friday evening or Saturday before 2 pm. Their group picture will be taken so that it can be reviewed by the Awards Committee. The “Best Dressed Shop” Award will be presented during ASA Mo/Kan’s Awards Dinner & Comedy Night on Saturday evening, March 7.
“We are excited to continue raising the image of our industry. Many shops will have their owners, managers and technicians attend VISION in company dress shirts. They have a very clean and professional image,” said Jerry Holcom, ASA Mo/Kan Awards Committee Chairman. “We want to recognize those shops and their employees, as well as encourage other service professionals to help us raise awareness and professionalism in our industry.”
