BETHESDA, MD — The Car Care Council is offering “Be Car Care Aware” point-of-sale kits for the special price of $95 until March 15, 2005. Designed to help aftermarket companies and organizations get involved in the on-going “Be Car Care Aware” consumer education campaign, the kits can be easily ordered through the Car Care Aware web site — www.carcare.org.

Each kit contains “Be Car Care Aware” signage, consumer education materials and the industry’s first comprehensive Service Interval Schedule. The schedule helps consumers track regular vehicle servicing by taking the guesswork out of what vehicle systems need to be routinely inspected and when service or repair should be performed. In addition, each kit contains the popular “Be Car Care Aware” systems brochures.

As a bonus, the kits include National Car Care Month (NCCM) materials that can be used each April, including banners, posters and NCCM vehicle inspection forms. All shops and stores that purchase a kit will be included on the Car Care Council’s Web site shop or store locator. Plus, those conducting Vehicle Check Up events in April will be added to the online NCCM event roster.
