BBB Industries Acquires Garner Automotive Products

BBB Industries, LLC, a leading U.S. remanufacturer of replacement alternators and starters for domestic and imported vehicles, has acquired certain assets of Garner Automotive Products, Inc. Garner Automotive Products makes new and remanufactured starters and alternators under the Garner name as well as for private label brands.

MOBILE, AL — BBB Industries, LLC, a leading U.S. remanufacturer of replacement alternators and starters for domestic and imported vehicles, has acquired certain assets of Garner Automotive Products, Inc. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

Garner Automotive Products makes new and remanufactured starters and alternators under the Garner name as well as for private label brands. The company has locations in Memphis and Lexington, TN. BBB operates facilities in Alabama, California, Tennessee, Oklahoma and Mexico.

Chris Garner, who served as president of Garner Automotive Products, will be joining BBB as vice president of sales — special markets. According to Don Bigler, CEO of BBB Industries, Garner’s role in the company will further strengthen the company’s resources and national footprint.

Bigler added, “This acquisition is an excellent example of a key element of our growth strategy … expanding our market leadership position through strategic acquisitions serving to capitalize on an impressive and loyal customer base.”
