BETHESDA, Md. – The Automotive Aftermarket Industry Association (AAIA) and BB&T Capital Markets have teamed up to provide a new report detailing the performance of automotive aftermarket companies, which will available only through AAIA. Beginning with the Jan. 13 edition of AAIA SmartBrief, the new AAIA/BB&T Weekly Automotive Aftermarket Intelligence Update will be published every Tuesday.
The report will highlight trends in the automotive aftermarket and break down the industry into four categories based on a company’s primary function in the industry: manufacturers/suppliers; retailers and distributors; service and repair; and collision and salvage. The report will include relative performance of automotive aftermarket stocks versus industry participants and the broader market; as well as same store sales comparisons, operating results and valuation metrics. The report will provide information on recent mergers and acquisitions.
