Baxter Performance Expands Its Line Of Oil Filter Adapters

Baxter Performance applied for a patent and began selling its adapters in 2015. The company’s adapters are machined to exacting standards from billet aluminum and built in the U.S.

Baxter Performance (BP), a manufacturer of cartridge oil filter adapters for Toyota engines, has announced its expansion into adapters for Ford, GM and Mopar applications. The company produces quality machined adapters to convert from cartridge filters to spin-on style filters and remote filter mounting applications, aiming to make oil changes easier.

“With the advent of automotive manufacturers reverting to cartridge style filters, there is no other way to appropriately invade these systems to add additional cooling, accumulators or simply relocate the filter to a more accessible location,” said Kevin Baxter, owner of Baxter Performance.

Jim Mill of Aftermarket West Sales & Marketing said, “As a manufacturer’s representative, I don’t often take on a product line that is new to the market. When I do, it’s because I see a quality product that fills a void in the marketplace. BP Adapters is just such a product line. As an enthusiast, I work on my own vehicles. It’s important for me as a sales representative to see the value, quality and usefulness of a product line to be able to fully endorse and support it.”

Baxter Performance applied for a patent and began selling its adapters in 2015. The company’s adapters are machined to exacting standards from billet aluminum and built in the U.S. It has expanded its line to provide the aftermarket industry with inverted remote oil filter mounts that can be mounted on most cars, trucks, boats or ATVs.
