BASF Automotive Refinish Honors Employee, Salesperson Of The Year In North America

Richard Oster was named the 2015 North America Employee of the Year and Robert Alvarado was awarded the 2015 North America Salesperson of the Year.

BASF’s Automotive Refinish Business named Richard Oster as the 2015 North America Employee of the Year and Robert Alvarado as the 2015 North America Salesperson of the Year. The awards were presented at the first annual Coatings Impact Awards presentation in Whitehouse, Ohio.

BASF - Award WinnersOster, strategic account manager, was recognized for not only exceeding his sales goals but also for his commitment to the business and serving as a role model and mentor. “Rich is one of those go-to employees who gets things done,” said Paul Whittleston, BASF vice president, Automotive Refinish in North America. “He’s the first person to volunteer and he’s always willing to try new ideas and propose solutions to problems.”

Robert Alvarado, sales account representative, was recognized for driving growth and market share. “Robert exemplifies an entrepreneurial spirit. He’s a strong communicator and works closely with the extended sales team and our distribution partners to achieve outstanding results,” said Whittleston.

“In order for our business to exceed we need to perform on the highest level in every function,” added Whittleston. “Both Rich and Robert are the epitome of high-performing employees.”
