BASF Announces 2005 Fourth Quarter Automotive Refinish Training Schedule

BASF’s Automotive Refinish business has issued its North American training schedule for the fourth quarter of 2005. Courses will be conducted at 10 training facilities in the United States and Canada, with nine of the locations offering OEM certification training. French-language courses are offered in the Montreal facility.

SOUTHFIELD, MI — BASF’s Automotive Refinish business has issued its North American training schedule for the fourth quarter of 2005. Courses will be conducted at 10 training facilities in the United States and Canada, with nine of the locations offering OEM certification training. French-language courses are offered in the Montreal facility.

The training session will be held in Atlanta, Baltimore, Edmonton, Kansas City, Los Angeles, Montreal, Toronto, Vancouver, Hartford, CT, and Whitehouse, OH.

The courses cover the latest and most advanced techniques for proper application and color adjustment of Glasurit and R-M paint systems. All of the U.S. facilities offer Glasurit and R-M programs that meet the mandatory requirements for General Motors and Ford certification.

Several of the sites also offer training in the use of the innovative Glasurit Small-Damage Repair System, as well as the R-M Cycle Time Reduction Repair System. Environmental considerations and safety instruction are integral parts of all the classes.
