Babcox Publications Takes Home Three Automotive Communications Awards

This week at AAPEX, the Car Care Council Women’s Board (WB) launched a new awards program. The Automotive Communications Awards (ACA) were presented during the Women’s Board reception on Tuesday in Las Vegas during AAPEX.

LAS VEGAS — This week at AAPEX, the Car Care Council Women’s Board (WB) launched a new awards program. The Automotive Communications Awards (ACA) were presented during the Women’s Board reception on Tuesday in Las Vegas during AAPEX.

The Automotive Communications Awards recognize companies and/or agencies that provide automotive information through outstanding advertising, marketing and PR efforts. The business-to-consumer awards have 14 categories for entries targeted to women, including car care clinics and direct mail pieces or campaigns/newsletters. The business-to-business awards consist of 21 categories with such options as logo design and special promotions and promotional events/trade shows.

Three Babcox publications were recognized during the awards ceremony. Counterman magazine received the award for best magazine article — general market special interest; Tomorrow’s Technician won for best magazine educational article; and aftermarketNews.com received the award for best business-to-business Web site.
