COLOGNE, Germany Axalta Coating Systems has received the Best Employer in Russia award from the Russian Business Captains Association at the annual Human Resources Ceremony held in Moscow in May. The judging panel, made up of a team of experts from leading consulting companies and human resource experts, chose Axalta in Russia from among 200 nominated companies.
Collectively, Axalta in Russia and its joint venture Axalta Russian Coatings LLC in Yaroslavl, Russia, employ more than 140 people; most are based at its offices in Moscow while some representatives are located in St. Petersburg and Yekaterinburg. In addition to serving customers in Russia, the company has liquid, industrial and powder coating business customers in Ukraine, Belarus and Kazakhstan. Its joint venture focuses on automotive OEMs. Axalta in Russia is currently working on the launch of its training center for automotive body shop technicians, which is planned for completion in 2015.

Guseva also received personal awards for Business Reputation and Best HR Director at the conference. “It is wonderful to be rewarded for my personal work, alongside the company’s award," she said. "We have put the awards up in our reception area as a constant reminder of what we have achieved and how we plan to build on it.”
